In a world of fast-paced everything, Yin Yoga takes the time out to offer the body and mind slowness and a sense of calm, focusing on the connective tissues of the body through postures that are held in stillness and mindful awareness for an extended time (1 minute+).

A perfect complement to more yang styles of movement, Yin is a restorative practice targeting the body's connective tissue through holding poses for time in stillness. You may walk away feeling not only more lubricated within your joints and flexible tissues, but also with a greater sense of balance, peace, and calm. Props encouraged as a wonderful support making poses comfortable and accessible.

Props suggested: blanket, blocks, bolster, strap.
