She / Her
Meet Katie - Personal Trainer, Body Image Coach, and your biggest cheerleader when it comes to moving in a way that feels good. Her goal is helping people of all ages, abilities, and bodies feel strong, confident, and at home in themselve - no pressure, no rules, just movement that works for you.
Her own lived experience healing body image and disordered eating, coupled with Katie's decade of professional experience in traditional gyms led Katie to learning about the non-diet approach and training in Body Image Coaching, on top of her psychology degree. Now finding Haven, Katie is taking this a step further as she dives into further learning around weight inclusivity, body neutrality, weight stigma, fat positivity and body privilege - immersing herself into the Haven ethos!
Forget the latest fitness fads; she believes the best kind of exercise is the one you actually enjoy.
For Katie, movement is self-expression - there’s no right or wrong way to do it. She has a special love for running and strength training but is always up for trying something new. You’ll often find her in the gym testing out (and usually laughing through) moves she spotted a far more skilled athlete doing. It’s a reminder that fitness isn’t about perfection - it’s about playfulness, curiosity, and realising you’re capable of more than you ever imagined.
She’s a big fan of:
Running and strength training
Trying (and often failing!) new moves in the gym—because movement is about curiosity, not perfection
Helping people discover just how capable they are
Creating a supportive, judgment-free space where all bodies are welcome.
