In a world of fast-paced everything, Yin Yoga takes time out to slow down and soften. You'll focus on the connective tissues of the body through postures held in stillness and mindful awareness for an extended time (1 minute+).

A perfect complement to more yang styles of movement, this practice releases fascia, improves joint mobility and reduces stress and anxiety. Yin Yoga balances the internal organs and improves the flow of chi or prana - the result is not only more lubricated joints and flexible tissues, but also a greater sense of balance, peace, and calm.

**Recommended props - all the things! Having props handy (blanket, blocks, bolster & strap) is highly encouraged to support the restorative approach of this class.
