At Haven we passionately and fiercely protect our body-positive, compassionate, non-judgmental culture. We are proudly weight inclusive, meaning we accept and respect the inherent diversity of body shapes and sizes and reject the idealizing or pathologizing of specific weights.To protect our unique community we ask that everyone participating at Haven are comfortable aligning with the following guidelines:

‘Haven’ refers to Haven Wellness Pty Ltd and it’s staff and contractors. 

I understand and agree that is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in activity with Haven and ensuring I am of appropriate physical fitness to engage in activities with Haven. 
I will inform the teacher / instructor of any concerns or injuries I need to work around but I confirm that I am of appropriate physical health to be able to commence physical activity with Haven. 
I understand that classes, sessions and activities may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.
I will follow instructions given to me by Haven with attentiveness to my body, noting that although I am being guided by Haven I understand that ultimately I am responsible for asserting control over how I use my body.
I take full responsibility for my own health and assume full responsibility of any risks, injuries, damages, loss of property or death which may occur as a result of my participation in any activity/activities with Haven.
I have read and understood and agree to this waiver in full, and understand it affects my legal rights.

By participating in activities at Haven you are confirming that you have read, understood and are in agreement with everything outlined above. 


Studio Terms and Conditions 

Please read through the terms and conditions thoroughly before attending. 

While we endeavour to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Haven is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

Instructors are subject to change without notice.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class as late entry is discouraged and cannot be guaranteed. For security reasons the door to the studio may be locked at the beginning of each class. 

Leaving class early without a medical reason is strongly discouraged.

Please check in with your instructor before each class.

Haven is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.

Haven has the right to refuse entry at anytime.

Bookings are to be made via our app or in the studio or with your instructor/trainer.

To book into a class you must either have a valid membership, have credits in your account or pay at the time of booking.

You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to participate in activities with Haven.

By booking into a class you automatically agree to all our terms & conditions and waiver.



Memberships are paid fortnightly in advance for the following 2 weeks.
Members may select either direct debit (recommended) or credit card as their payment method.
12 month class memberships are for a minimum of 26 fortnightly automatic payments and continue to roll over fortnightly unless 4 weeks email
 notice is given. 
Month-to-month class memberships are for a minimum of 2 fortnightly automatic payments and continue to roll over fortnightly unless 4 weeks email notice is given. 
PT and Semi-PT memberships are for a minimum of 8 weeks fortnightly automatic payments, unless you are already on a class membership, in which case it is a minimum of 4 weeks.
Member benefits apply to recurring membership members only (do not apply to casual PT clients or class pass holders).

Membership Pause 

Going away? Need a financial break? Take a membership pause: 

Memberships may be paused with at least 7 days email notification to anna@havenwellness.com.au prior to your next payment date. Requests cannot be accepted by any means other than email. Pause dates should align with your payment cycles otherwise we will try to align as best we can.
You may pause for 1-4 weeks at a time for a maximum of 3 suspensions per year (maximum of 12 weeks total); thereafter at an additional at $5 per week.

Minimum Terms and Termination

Class Memberships are for a 1, 6, or 12 month minimum term.

PT and Semi memberships are for a 4 or 8 weeks minimum term.

Once your minimum term has been met you may cancel or change your membership with one month’s email notification to anna@havenwellness.com.au.

All account debts must be settled before cancellation of membership can be finalised, this includes all late cancellation and no show fees incurred.

Declined Payments 

We trust that our members ensure they have sufficient funds available to cover their fortnightly auto-debit but we understand that life can get messy sometimes. If a member's recurring payment fails on the first attempt, the system will not allow them to make a booking using their membership until a successful payment has been made. Our payment processor will attempt to take the payment and if the transaction continues to fail, a $7.50 late payment fee will apply on the 7th day and the member will be unable to book or attend classes until payment has been settled.

Class passes

Class Passes are valid from the date of purchase.

5 Class Passes are valid for 2 months 
10 Class Passes are valid for 4 months.

Class Passes are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.

If you’re unable to attend a class, please cancel within the 1 hour booking window to allow your fellow Haven buddies to attend and to avoid losing your class credit. Classes otherwise are strictly forfeit.

Class Pass credits cannot be used for workshops, courses or special classes.

Member benefits do not apply to Class Pass holders or casual attendees

Cancelling and rescheduling

We really value time – both yours, and ours. Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure all Havenites have a chance to attend and help us manage our schedules, member’s needs, intimate class sizes and keep delivering our best service. Our cancellation policy supports and respects the time commitment of our clients and our team:


Class cancellations

Class cancellations can be made via our app or website up to one hour before class start time without incurring a fee.

Mini Hopper Members and Class Pass holders who book into a class and fail to attend will forfeit their class and Freedom Members who book into a class and fail to attend will be charged a $10 no-show fee.

Cancellations cannot be accepted via phone, email or social media.

Waitlisted  clients will all be notified as soon as a space becomes available and the spot goes to first in, first served!


PT / Semi PT Cancellations

PT Members and Semi-PT Members - Clients opting for the PT on an 8-week membership are booked into their preferred spot at commencement of their membership. Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours notice direct to their trainer and rescheduled within the fortnight. If a suitable time cannot be arranged with the same trainer, an alternative time with another trainer may be offered, or a service of similar value such as classes, semi-PT or a massage.

Sessions outside of this are strictly forfeit unless extenuating circumstances apply which are addressed on a case by case basis directly with your trainer.


PT Members are entitled to 1 x courtesy exception every 8 weeks - meaning if a members needs to cancel within the 24 hours they may opt to use this exemption once within 8 weeks upon chatting with their trainer.

Casual PT clients - may book session to session with their trainer / Haven team member.  Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours notice direct to their trainer without fee. Sessions are encouraged to be rescheduled within the fortnight.


Sessions cancelled within 12-24 hours will be charged 70% of the session cost; within 12 hours 100% of the session cost.

Extenuating circumstances may be discussed on a case by case basis direct with your trainer, and another service of similar values (eg classes, massage) may be offered.

By continuing to access our studio or website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by our terms and conditions of use, which govern our relationship with you in relation to the website and studio. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions at any time. 

Bringing your little ones

Safety is important to us and our space is a little different to the old place. Children are invited when appropriate and at the trainers discretion - and only upon prior direct discussion with your trainer. Mums will be required to keep their wee ones strictly in the designated area and away from the gym floor and will be required to sign off a waiver.

Great news to keep in mind - there will actually be a creche available as part of our buddies / neighbouring building's transformation The Village Project in the future (expected early 2021).
